Older homes in Clark County

A lot of the housing stock here went up before 1980, and it was wired for a house that had a fridge, a stove and a television. Now it runs a heat pump, an induction range, two laptops and a car. That's where the calls come from.

If your panel still has fuses, or the label says Federal Pacific or Zinsco, that's worth a look regardless of whether anything is failing yet. Some insurers won't write a policy on those.
